Local community groups will open their public halls and spaces to the Golden Plains community this Australia Day, Monday 26 January.
A number of breakfasts will take place across the Shire. See below for a summarised list of what’s on. Please note, we are only aware of Australia Day events registered with Council.
Linton
8am to 10am for Australia Day breakfast
Linton Recreation Reserve. Adults $5, Primary Aged Children Free. This years funds will be donated to Rebuild the Carranballac Rec Reserve.
Scarsdale
8am for a BBQ breakfast
Scarsdale Town Hall, 15 Pitfield-Scarsdale Road, Scarsdale. Adults $8, Children under 12 $4, Children under 3 eat free.
Rokewood
7.30am to 10am for Australia Day breakfast
'The Rotunda' (on the main street), Ferrars Road, Rokewood. Gold coin donation appreciated.
