Southeast Land Use Planning Review

Golden Plains Shire Council has embarked on an important project to review the land use planning arrangements in the south east area of the Shire and to develop a land use framework to guide the future of the area.

This project has been particularly prompted by the construction of the Geelong Bypass (completion scheduled for 2009) and the predicted pressures and opportunities this may bring to the area.

Council adopted the final report in November 2007 which will now lead to the inclusion of the strategy within the Golden Plains Planning Scheme as part of a Planning Scheme Amendment.

If you have any questions about the project, please contact us.
