Smythesdale Gardens and Brewery Dam Reserve Masterplan

Smythesdale Gardens Brewery Dam Adopted

About

Council adopted the Smythesdale Gardens and Brewery Dam Reserve Masterplan (the Masterplan) at its meeting on Tuesday 26 September.

The Masterplan was developed following an extensive community engagement process which included in-person consultations with the Smythesdale Progress Association/Committee of Management (CoM) and online community consultation from Wednesday 26 July to Wednesday 23 August.

Key objectives of the Masterplan include improving and enhancing the reserve landscape, establishing options for additional facilities and infrastructure, improving recreational opportunities for reserve users and resolving access issues.

The Masterplan also identifies current and future needs and issues while also providing clear direction for the responsible development of each reserve within resource constraints.
