Kindergarten and Child Care Enrolments

Here at the Golden Plains Shire Council we are committed to providing high quality children's services that are responsive to the needs of families and reflect the diverse communities in which we live.

As part of our ongoing commitment to improvement we have implemented an online waitlist management service.  This service is known as the My Family Lounge (MFL).

Families will be required to create an account in order to register/enrol their child for any of the following services:

  • Bannockburn Kindergarten
  • Meredith Kindergarten
  • Inverleigh Kindergarten
  • Rokewood Kindergarten
  • Inverleigh Occasional Care
  • Teesdale Kindergarten


It's easy to enrol, simply follow the 3 steps below to create your account and manage your enrolment request.  


Current Families:

Please log into your My Family Lounge account and use the 'Edit' button next to your current booking to make any alterations to your child's enrolment.

New Families:

Do you already have a My Family Lounge account with another provider?  If so, please login below to link your current account to our database.

Family Day Care

Family Day Care is a home-based approved children's service operated by the Golden Plains Shire Council, provided for children from 6 weeks to 12 years of age.  There are a number of Family Day Care Educators contracted by the Golden Plains Shire who are located throughout the region who provide care and education for children within their own homes.

Golden Plains Shire spans the Traditional lands of the Wadawurrung and Eastern Maar people. Council acknowledges them as the traditional Traditional Owners and Custodians of this land and pays its respects to Wadawurrung Elders and Eastern Maar Elders past, present and emerging. Council extends that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Ppeople who are part of Golden Plains Shire.
