This morning, Golden Plains Shire Mayor Cr Owen Sharkey joined Michaela Settle MP, Member for Buninyong and Stewart Marshall from Tall Tree Poultry to officially mark the completion of the $1.4 million Tall Tree Road upgrade.
The Bannockburn Growth Plan will guide the sustainable growth of the town to the year 2050, and Council and the Victorian Planning Authority (VPA) are encouraging local residents to have their say on the plan.
The new library station at The Well in Smythesdale will improve services for residents in the north of Golden Plains Shire, complementing the popular mobile library service that visits nine local townships.
Your Story, Our Story, a special exhibition celebrating the history and stories of the townships of Golden Plains will be installed in the new Council Chambers at the Golden Plains Community and Civic Centre (GPCCC), scheduled to open to the public in mid-2020.
