Have Your Say: Vacant Council Land in Batesford

Golden Plains Shire Council invited residents to have their say on the future of a block of vacant Council owned land in the Dog Rocks North Estate in Batesford from Monday 23 January to Wednesday 22 February, 2023. 

The 2496m2 narrow strip of vacant land is adjacent to private residential blocks and situated between 39 and 45 Daruma Way, Batesford. The land is zoned Low Density Residential and is not currently used for any Council or public purpose. 

The development plan for the Dog Rocks North Estate endorsed in 2005, classifies this strip of land as a walkway reserve, however the land has since ended up leading only to a private property.
