Walk & Talk Carers Group

Giving yourself time as a carer to improve your health and wellbeing has many health related benefits. Walking for an average of 30 minutes per day can lower the risk of heart disease, stroke and diabetes by 30 to 40 per cent.
Taking a step for your wellbeing is a way to stretch the mind and body along with like-minded people taking steps to find time to become more physically active.

*This group is only for carers living in Golden Plains Shire who provide unpaid care and support to family members and friends with a disability, mental illness, chronic health issues or age related conditions.
