About

Council has commenced the development of a masterplan for the Woady Yaloak Equestrian Centre identifying the future needs of the facility and detailing strategic development opportunities at the Centre.

The Masterplan will assess the current and future sporting and recreation needs of the Centre, as well as the condition and provision of the current equestrian and community facilities. The Masterplan will provide a guide for future enhancements and development to ensure it remains a valuable community asset in the future and increase its capacity to hold large events.

The Woady Yaloak Equestrian Centre provides the local community with a range of opportunities for equestrian participation, including dressage, eventing, showjumping, pony club and adult riding clubs.

Engagement Update

To help shape the Masterplan, Council sought feedback from community members on how they currently utilise the facility, what barriers they may face in accessing it and how it can be enhanced in the future.

Community members were invited to have their say by completing the Woady Yaloak Equestrian Centre Masterplan survey from Thursday 14 April to Wednesday 11 May, 2022. Thank you to all of the community members who had their say during this period.

What Happens Next

All feedback provided during the consultation period will be considered in the development of the Woady Yaloak Equestrian Centre Masterplan.
