Early Years Services Review 2016

Share this:

Thank you to all those who participated in the 2016 Golden Plains Early Years Survey! Your feedback is helping us to improve our service.

78 parents and carers participated in the Early Years Survey in mid-2016.  The results were shared with participants and the community via our website.  Please follow the link to see a summary of results.

This information is being used to inform ongoing strategic planning for our services, including plans for our facilities, educators, program delivery, and fees.

The Department of Education and Training (DET) also completed a separate Kindergarten Service Review in late 2016.  Council will provide an update on the DET survey when we receive the findings.

What happens next

This survey is now closed, however we will be asking for further feedback from families via a survey in Term 3 2017, as part of our annual kindergarten review.

How you can be involved

Some families who participated in the survey expressed interest in providing further feedback about their service.  Council encourages any interested family member to contact the Volunteer Parent Committee at their service, or the Child and Family Services Team Leader, Heidi Preston:, (03) 5220 7236.
