Youth Development work out of and offer programs / events / training at a variety of community spaces to ensure engagement with young people across Golden Plains Shire. 
 

Bannockburn Youth Lounge

The Youth Lounge is located within the Bannockburn Cultural Centre at 25 High St Bannockburn. The purpose built youth space contains gaming consoles, study spaces, musical equipment, free WiFi and healthy snacks. The Youth Lounge is supervised by Councils Youth Development staff and is open on Thursday afternoons from 4:00pm – 6:30pm and on advertised times in the school holidays. 

The Well Smythesdale

A variety of programs are offered from The Well including a weekly drop in on Thursday afternoons during the school term from 4:00pm - 6:30pm. 
 

Meredith Community Centre

The Meredith Community Centre is located at 4 Russell St, Meredith VIC 3333. More information regarding programs and opportunities for young people can be found at their website http://www.meredithcommunitycentre.com.au/
 

Haddon Community Learning Centre

Dereel Community Centre

The Dereel Community Centre is located at 14 Swamp Road, Dereel VIC 3352. More information regarding programs and opportunities for young people can be found at their website https://integratedliving.org.au/

 

iVan

The iVan is a mobile youth space! In a Shire consisting of 56 small rural townships and settlements, iVan is our way of bringing youth programs to you.
