The program provides families with access to group information sessions providing health and wellness promotion.
These sessions are delivered by early childhood and health professionals about topics that are relevant to parents and carers of young children within their local community and surrounds.
Sessions are provided throughout the year, in a variety of ways, to enable families to attend.
These sessions are open to all of our community and many sessions allow the attendance of children. Early childhood educators will attend these sessions to help care for your children if needed.
Some examples of programs being offered across the Shire are:
- Nature play sessions
- Toddler behaviour
- Healthy eating
- Question time with Maternal and Child Health Nurses
- Play ideas
- First aid and CPR
- Infant and toddler sleep
- Toileting
