Future Meetings
Update: A change to our Council meetings
Council meetings will continue to be held on the scheduled dates below each month.
In accordance with the Victorian Government’s COVID-19 directives, all Council meetings will be closed to the public, however available to view online, until at least 26 April 2021.
Under the directives, Councillors have the option of meeting together in person, following social distancing and health and hygiene guidelines or holding a virtual meeting. Due to Coronavirus (COVID-19), members of the public are unable to attend in person however all meetings will be livestreamed on Council’s YouTube page. The link to the livestream will be posted on the day of the meeting on Council’s social media and website. A summary of the decisions made at the meeting is also available on Council’s website the day after the meeting.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, any questions submitted for Public Question Time will be read out by the Chief Executive Officer as proxy (where appropriate), until further notice. All public presentations and submissions must be in written form and will be read out by the Mayor at the meeting. The maximum time limit of five minutes is still applicable.

In line with the Victorian Government’s guidelines and Council’s COVIDSafe Plan, the meetings in January, February, March and April will be held at the Golden Plains Civic Centre, 2 Pope Street, Bannockburn and will be closed to public attendance. The location and attendance of meetings from May onwards will be determined and communicated later in the year.
All meetings of Council are livestreamed on Council’s YouTube channel. For a direct link, visit Council’s website or social media on the day of the meeting, with a recording available on Council’s website following the meeting.
