Community Strengthening Grants Program 2020/21

Share this:

The Golden Plains Shire Community Strengthening Grants program is offered to assist not-for-profit community organisations in providing opportunities that benefit the wider Golden Plains community.

We are looking for projects that contribute to an inclusive, diverse, healthy and socially connected community.

In particular, our key priorities are to support projects that can demonstrate that they aim to:

  • Increase opportunities for communities to connect through a shared passion or goal
  • Improve communities' access to information about local and regional services, programs and events
  • Revitalise community spaces
  • Increase the range of community, recreation, sport, arts, heritage or cultural activities
  • Protect and enhance the natural environment
