Domestic Animal Management Plan

Under the section 68A of the Domestic Animals Act (1994), every Council in Victoria must prepare a domestic animal management plan every four years in consultation with the Secretary of the Department of Jobs, Precints and Regions (DJPR). The purpose of the Domestic Animal Management Plan is to provide Council with a clear direction as to how it will encourage and support residents within the Golden Plains Shire to be responsible pet owners.
