Golden Plains Shire Council is one of forty-six Victorian Councils to sign on to VECO, the Victorian Energy Collaboration, the largest ever emissions reduction project by local government in Australia.
On Friday 14 May, Minister for Regional Development the Hon. Mary-Anne Thomas announced a new stormwater infrastructure project at the Bannockburn Industrial Estate, joined by Golden Plains Shire Mayor Cr Helena Kirby.
On Friday 7 May, Mayor Cr Helena Kirby joined Michaela Settle MP, Member for Buninyong, for an exciting announcement to fully fund the Ross Creek Play and Active Rec Upgrade.
The Golden Plains Shire Council’s Draft Budget 2021-22 (Draft Budget) was endorsed by Council at its meeting on 27 April and is now on public exhibition for community feedback from Saturday 1 May to Monday 31 May, 2021.
