Bannockburn

Golden Plains Shire is set to host a writing masterclass as part of the Word for Word National Non-Fiction Festival.

The Festival is the largest national event to focus on non-fiction writing in all forms and this year’s line-up includes Peter Carey, Tim Flannery, Susan Carland, Jelena Dokic, John Safran, Benjamin Law, Julian Burnside QC and many more.

As part of the Festival an expanded series of writing masterclasses is being held on Friday 17 November across the region.

This includes a full day masterclass at Bannockburn Library, where award-winning writer and scholar Harriet Gaffney will be conducting a masterclass “Sifting Truth: Fiction vs (Creative) Non-Fiction”.

We encourage experienced writers to attend this great learning opportunity. A registration cost is applicable.
