Today marks the first ever edition of the new local newspaper, ‘Golden Plains Times’. Council would like to welcome the Golden Plains Times to our Shire, and thank Alan and Debbie from the Miner for their stellar efforts over the years.
Council is excited to welcome this new business, and the wider distribution of important, local information it brings, to our Shire. It can be difficult at times reaching our residents and having the Golden Plains Times reach further into the northern end of our Shire is a great opportunity for the community to stay informed about what’s happening. We also would like to express our sincere thanks to Alan and Debbie for pioneering the Miner, which has provided quality support of our local communities.
