Volunteer of the week: Andrew Armstrong

Community
Lethbridge

Council would like to recognise Lethbridge resident, Andrew Armstrong in the lead up to Volunteer Week (8 – 14 May).

Andrew volunteers with the Lethbridge and Bannockburn Cub Scouts, helping give kids a meaningful and memorable experience to take with them in the future. He does loads of paperwork behind-the-scenes to keep everything running—and much more for the two clubs.

Last year, Andrew handmade Christmas trees out of recycled pallets for Lethbridge residents, so they could brighten up their yards and the community—how special is that?

Further testament to Andrew’s kind and selfless character, he’s heading overseas this year to share his building skills with Mongolian communities in need.

Andrew is also a member of the Lethbridge CFA and highly regarded in the Lethbridge community… and rightfully so.
