Council will commence important bridge works in the near future to improve public safety.
Sharps Road, Lethbridge
This project involves the installation of a VicRoads-approved bridge barrier, which will improve safety for all motorists using the single-lane bridge.
Works will commence on Monday 12 November 2018 and are expected to be completed on Friday 23 November. Maude residents and quarry operations may be impacted, with Sharps Road to be closed for the duration of the project and detours in place.
Linton-Naringhil Road, Mannibadar
This project involves replacing the 2.5 tonne load-limited bridge with an unrestricted load limitless structure; this will allow heavier vehicles to use the bridge safely.
Works will commence on/around Monday 12 November 2018 and are expected to be completed on Friday 23 November. Construction will require total road closure for the duration of the project. Signage will alert motorists to detours.
Residents who reside in the small number of dwellings impacted by the works will be notified.
