A huge crowd of local residents and visitors descended on the brand new Bannockburn Heart for the third annual Golden Plains Twilight Market on Thursday evening. With children and families enjoying the playground and splashing through the water place, the Twilight Market was another very successful community event presented by Council.
Generously sponsored by Bannockburn Bendigo Bank and Powershop, the Twilight Market is a great opportunity for locals to purchase Christmas farm fresh and home-made foods, as well as flowers, free range meats, vegan treats and bespoke gifts direct from the farmers, makers, artists and gourmet provedores of the Golden Plains region. Market-goers enjoyed live music, great food and festive beverages while shopping at the market and exploring the new Heart.
The Twilight Market is an extension of the popular monthly Golden Plains Farmers’ Market and we congratulate all staff involved in delivering another successful community event.
