Trailblazers walking group for Golden Plains residents

Community

Residents are invited to participate in Council’s Trailblazers walking program. The program includes a monthly group walking activity and is open to all community members in Golden Plains.

About the walks

Walks, which are 5–6km, are held on the first Thursday of the month and usually start at 10.00am. Locations change from month to month to keep the trails different and interesting. As such, terrains change too—some trails include hills and unsealed paths.  Bus transportation is provided to help make it easier for residents to participate (see below for more information).

Participants are more than welcome to bring along their dogs, provided they are on a lead. Unfortunately, dogs aren’t allowed on the bus.

Why Trailblazers is great

Trailblazers walks are fantastic for many reasons: they help improve or maintain your fitness, provide the opportunity to make new friends and take you to parts of Golden Plains you may never have seen before!
