The Summer school holidays are upon us and there are plenty of activities happening throughout Golden Plains Shire to keep your primary-aged children entertained.

Dancing is like dreaming with your feet

Award winning Cari Fynn of Cari’s school of dance in Teesdale will host two fun and interactive dance sessions for primary aged children. Cari teaches Modern, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip hop/funk and Theatrical styles.Enquire/bookings: M: 0418 339 777 E: [email protected]

Learn to ride

Artemis Park Riding School in Meredith will host two all day horse riding sessions for beginners and onwards. If learning how to care for a horse and how to ride a horse interests your child, then go to Artemis Park Riding School Facebook page for enquires and bookings. The Bannockburn Library will host a range of activities throughout the holidays for school-aged children. If the thought of ‘Super Box Cars’, ‘The Art of Mindfulness’, ‘Miss Peregrines Peculiar Photography’ or ‘Harry Vs Voldermort’ just to name a few might interest your child then go to the libraries website. Boredom busters with the YMCA

The Bannockburn YMCA will host a range of boredom buster activities throughout the holidays to challenge and entertain your child. Go to the YMCA website for a full list of the activities being offered and to register your child. Visit their website online at www.geelong.ymca.org.au

Cuppa and Craft session

The Cuppa and Craft group will host a free fun and creative session at ‘The Well’ Smythesdale. If your child is interested in creating a beaded key ring and a bunting, this is the session for you. Places are limited so bookings are essential, phone 5321 1500.
