Smythesdale Skate Park refresh

The Smythesdale Skate Park has had an amazing refresh - some very talented artists 're vamped' the look and feel.

This project was part of an insurance claim, after the Skate Park was sadly targeted and vandalised following previous revitalisation efforts as part of a Graffiti Prevention Arts Project. The new theme and designs were selected as they were seen to represent the rural nature of the area and are light, playful and energetic.

The completion of this project follows a number of other projects this year at the Woady Yaloak Recreation Reserve including the redevelopment of the Woady BMX Track, the construction of a female change facility, the establishment of petanque pistes and the reconstruction of the Smythesdale Oval which is currently in progress.
