Skate and Bike Parks Reopen

In line with Golden Plains Shire and the rest of regional Victoria moving to Step Three of the Victorian Government’s reopening roadmap overnight, skate and bike parks are open again from this morning, Thursday 17 September.

Council is progressively removing the closure signs posted at these locations:

  • Teesdale Skate Park                     
  • Turtle Bend BMX Track 
  • Inverleigh Skate Park     
  • Rokewood BMX Track                                
  • Rokewood Recreation Reserve Skate Park
  • Smythesdale Skate Park              
  • Smythesdale BMX Track
  • Linton Rail Trail Skate Park
  • Meredith Skate Park
  • Bannockburn Skate Park

At each stop, Council officers will inspect the equipment and surrounds, log any maintenance works, clean up any rubbish at the site, and remove the closure sign.

All skate and bike park users are reminded to continue practising social distancing and good hand hygiene in line with the remaining restrictions.
