Golden Plains Shire Council has extended its expression of interest period for commercial or retail operators interested in long or short-term leasing of the Bannockburn Shire Hall.
The Shire Hall is located at 12 High Street, Bannockburn and has been vacant since May 2020, when meetings of Golden Plains Shire Council in Bannockburn were relocated to the modern and accessible Council Chambers at the Golden Plains Civic Centre.
The Shire Hall site offers:
- Two large spaces suitable for commercial or retail use;
- Kitchen and bathroom facilities;
- Additional rooms for storage;
- Prime High Street location in Town Centre, adjacent to Bannockburn Plaza; and
- Commercial 1 Zone (C1Z).

Council previously requested Expressions of Interest for the premise in May and June 2020, however no lease has been finalised.
