Remembrance Day 2020

General

Tomorrow is Remembrance Day, where we pause at 11am to remember those who served, which is especially poignant this year as we mark the 75th anniversary of the end of WWII.

While there will be no public services due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Inverleigh RSL Sub-Branch will lay floral tributes at a number of Monuments in Golden Plains Shire. Members of the public are welcome to do the same in a COVID-safe manner.

The Victorian Shrine of Remembrance will livestream a commemorative broadcast at 10.45am on its Facebook and YouTube channels. For more information, click here.
