Reconciliation Week 2021

General

This week is National Reconciliation Week.

National Reconciliation Week is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

This year’s theme is More than a word. Reconciliation takes action. Golden Plains Shire Council is committed to reconciliation with its local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, and in March, Council endorsed its Draft Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan 2021.

National Reconciliation Week is held on the same dates every year: 27 May to 3 June. You can find more information on the week at nrw.reconciliation.org.au.
