The Napoleons Landcare Group will be holding an information session regarding the upcoming release of the new rabbit calici virus K5.

John Mathews of the Department of Agriculture will be presenting on the night. John is the Biosecurity Manager for Established Invasive Animals at the Department of Economic Development Jobs Transport & Resources (DEDJTR).   He has a wealth of experience & knowledge in the industry. John is responsible for the coordination of the release of the new calicivirus strain, K5 across Victoria. He has been working with the Invasive Animals CRC and the many other stakeholders to develop, deliver and co ordinate the Victorian K5 release, and monitoring strategies for control.
