Outdoor playgrounds, skate parks and bike parks will be reopened for play in Golden Plains Shire from tomorrow, Tuesday 26 May.

Following the latest COVID-19 restricted activity directions from the Victorian Government announced on Sunday 24 May, outdoor playgrounds, skate parks and bike parks will be open however, in the interests of ongoing public safety, ssocial distancing recommendations are still in place. For detailed information on the requirements, please visit www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/coronavirus.

From tomorrow, Council is progressively removing the closure signs posted at outdoor playgrounds, skate parks and bike parks. At each stop, Council officers will inspect the outdoor equipment and surrounds, log any maintenance works, clean up any rubbish at the site, and remove the closure sign.

Please note that, in line with Victorian Government directives, closures and closure signs are still currently in place at campgrounds across the Shire.
