Lunch to Celebrate International Women's Day

Golden Plains Shire Council is excited to celebrate International Women’s Day 2020 with a networking lunch featuring an exciting guest speaker.

Supported by Small Business Victoria, Golden Plains Shire Council’s first business networking event of 2020 will take place at Clyde Park Vineyard & Bistro from 12 to 2pm on Wednesday, 11 March.

Guests will be able to network, while enjoying a gourmet meal at the picturesque local vineyard and address from the trailblazing Rebecca Maddern.

Rebecca has an accomplished career in the media, including working as a radio and TV reporter for Triple M, Fox FM, Nova and the Seven Network. In 2003, she won the prestigious Quill Award for her coverage of Victoria’s bushfires, and was the first ever female co-host of Nine Network’s The Footy Show.

Rebecca is a regular host and reported for Sunrise and The Morning Show, and has covered numerous sporting events, including the 2012 Glasgow Commonwealth Games, Australia Open Tennis and the Melbourne Cup.
