Cape Clear
With hot weather forecast this weekend, the air-conditioned Cape Clear Hall at 11 Recreation Road will be open to the community to get some relief from the heat.
The hall’s management committee will open the hall from 10am to 6pm on Sunday 24 and Monday 25 January 2021. If you’re looking to stay cool, come along and bring a book, board game or a picnic to pass the time.
In 2018, Council installed the air conditioning system in the centre for this purpose and financially contributes to its running costs on days when the centre is open.
