The Panel Hearing to consider the Inverleigh Structure Plan (Amendment C87gpla) commences on Monday 13 July and will run for a number of days.
Recent changes to the Victorian Planning and Environment Act 1987 will allow the Planning Panel Hearing to proceed electronically over Zoom. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and in line with guidelines from the Victorian Government, the hearing will not be open to members of the public for in-person attendance. To ensure accessibility, the Panel Hearing will be livestreamed on Council’s YouTube page. A link to Council’s YouTube page will be made available on Council’s website prior to the hearing.
All submitters who requested to be heard by the Panel for Planning Scheme Amendment C87gpla (Inverleigh Structure Plan) have been informed by Planning Panels Victoria, and a number of residents will participate in the hearing over Zoom. Council is assisting a number of submitters without access to reliable internet to still participate in the hearing.
As with in-person hearings, please be advised that the hearing must not be recorded in any part or in any way without permission from the Panel. This includes audio and video recording.
