Planning Panels Victoria will hold a second Directions Hearing on the Inverleigh Structure Plan (Amendment C87GPLA) tomorrow, Thursday 11 June at 10am, to confirm arrangements for the Panel Hearing to proceed.
Recent changes to the Victorian Planning and Environment Act 1987 will allow the Panel Hearing to proceed electronically, and tomorrow’s Directions Hearing will be conducted over Zoom. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and in line with guidelines from the Victorian Government, the hearing will not be open to members of the public for in-person attendance. To ensure accessibility, the Directions Hearing will be livestreamed on Council’s YouTube page. A link to Council’s YouTube page will be made available on Council’s website prior to the hearing.
All submitters who requested to be heard by the Panel for Planning Scheme Amendment C87 (Inverleigh Structure Plan) have been informed by Panels Victoria, and a number of residents will participate in the hearing over Zoom. As with this week’s Special Budget Meeting of Council, for submitters without access to the internet or experience with Zoom there will be the option of joining over the phone.
