The Inverleigh Streetscape Works Plan has now been completed, with Street Furniture identified through community feedback as an addition to the plan.
Works Plan was the final step in the community consultation process that was undertaken on the Inverleigh Streetscape Master Plan earlier this year. The Works Plan reflects the strong community support for the following works: Improve Parking, Fix Road Surfaces, Plant and Protect Trees, and Better Drainage. This final stage of consultation reported back to the community and asked for feedback on additions to the plan. Forty-two community members completed the Works Plan postcards and online survey and the most popular response was Street Furniture, including seats and bins.
The Works Plan, Masterplan (Option 2) and the community feedback from both consultation stages will be considered by Council at its Ordinary Meeting on Tuesday 28 May at Bannockburn Shire Hall, starting at 6pm.
