Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and in line with guidelines from the Victorian Government, the meeting at the Golden Plains Civic Centre will not be open to members of the public. The meeting will be attended by Councillors and essential staff members with social distancing and hygiene requirements in place. Four residents have requested to present their submissions to Councillors, and these presentations will take place over Zoom during the meeting.

Council’s Draft Budget 2020/21 was on public display from 1 May 2020 to 29 May 2020. During this time, six residents submitted questions on the draft plan, and Council received nine formal submissions from residents and community groups. Golden Plains Shire Council thanks all these residents and groups for taking time to read and provide their feedback on the plan for the next financial year.

The Draft Budget 2020/21 is available online at goldenplains.vic.gov.au/budget.

Following the Special Budget Meeting, the final Budget 2020/21 will be considered for adoption by Council at its Ordinary Meeting in Bannockburn on Tuesday 23 June, 2020.
