Healthy Eating Activity and Lifestyle program

A Healthy Eating Activity and Lifestyle (HEAL) program is coming to The Well Smythesdale. The program helps people develop lifelong healthy lifestyle habits in a safe and  supportive environment.   

HEAL offers a 2 hour group session each week for 8 weeks, including:
•    1 hour supervised exercise 
•    1 hour healthy lifestyle education.

The HEAL program will help you to manage your: 
•    Weight 
•    Type 2 diabetes, or those at risk of developing diabetes 
•    Heart disease (including high blood pressure or high cholesterol).

Date:          Fridays from 3 February 2017 – 24 March 2017 
Time:         1:00pm – 3:00pm 
Location:   The Well, 19 Heales Street Smythesdale 
Cost:          Gold coin donation  

We are seeking female participants for an 8 week pilot program.

Sessions are run by an exercise physiologist and a 30 minute assessment is required prior to the program commencing. Assessments will commence from Friday 13 January 2017.
