Health Services in Golden Plains: we want to hear from you!

Community

Council is seeking input from local organisations and providers who deliver health services or programs to community members in Golden Plains Shire. We are interested in knowing the breadth and volume of health services so we can better understand what our Shire offers, where there might be gaps or opportunities, and how we can help plan for the future!

Health services and practitioners we’d love to hear from:

  • Allied health clinicians (physiotherapists, dietitians, podiatrists, diabetes education)
  • Aged care (home care and housekeeping assistance, residential aged care)
  • Counselling and mental health
  • Dental health services
  • Disability services
  • Drug and alcohol support services
  • Pharmacies
  • General Practice (General Practitioners)
  • Maternal, child and family health (family planning, community nursing, parenting support)
  • Respite carer support
  • Youth services.

We are also interested in hearing from people in our communities who run programs or activities that help local people to eat healthy or get active, such as cooking groups, garden programs, walking groups, cycling groups and more.
