Have Your Say on the Draft Communications and Marketing Strategy

Community

At its ordinary meeting on 18 December 2018, Council endorsed the Draft Communications and Marketing Strategy 2019-2021 to be put out to the community for feedback.

The Draft Communications and Marketing Strategy 2019-2021 is a detailed plan to connect communications and marketing efforts with the needs of Council and the community. The Strategy also aims to keep local residents, business-owners and other stakeholders better informed of Council activities and operations and more engaged with what is happening in the Shire, by addressing key themes and feedback provided through community consultation.

Thank you to the 230 Councillors, staff and community members who shared their ideas and opinions on the plan during the community engagement period.

All residents are now encouraged to read the strategic plan and provide community feedback by 5pm, Wednesday 31 January 2019. The draft Strategy is now available at the click below and in hard copy at Council’s Customer Service Centres in Bannockburn, Linton and Smythesdale. Feedback may be sent by email to [email protected] or through the Customer Service Portal on the Council website.

All comments will be considered and incorporated into the final strategy, which will return to the Council Chambers for adoption in early 2019.
