Grants program for junior female cyclist

Community

The Eureka Cycling Club is calling all junior female cyclists aged 15-18 years in the Central Highlands region (of which Golden Plains Shire is a part). The Club has a $500 grant available for a rising young female cycling star.

The successful applicant will be a female cyclist involved in a high performance training and development program, who has significant success to date in the cycling scene.

The Eureka Cycling Club understands there are many steps for young women to take before reaching their ultimate cycling career goal. They also recognise the costs of pursuing cycling are high, with competition entry fees, travelling expenses, membership fees, coaching and other training expenses all adding up. This is why the Club is calling for female cyclists aged 15-18 years to apply for a $500 grant.

Applications close Friday 24 August 2018; click below to find out more and apply, and direct enquiries to Dean Wells, Eureka Cycling Vice President via [email protected].
