The Country Women’s Association (CWA) Inverleigh and local fitness providers have teamed up to deliver fun fitness opportunities for families in Golden Plains this October.
The CWA submitted an application to Council’s HEAL grants program and were successful, along with the Linton and District Men’s Shed who applied for a HEAL grant to expand their Community Meals program. These are the first successful recipients of a Council HEAL grant! Supported by funds from the Department of Health and Human Services, these programs will be launching next month and demonstrate great examples of initiatives which promote healthy eating and active living.
