Family First Aid training in Bannockburn

Child & Family Services
Bannockburn

As part of our Healthy Families Program, Council is holding another Family First Aid training session in Bannockburn. This program has run successfully in Golden Plains (including Smythesdale) three times.

Presented by Parentmedic, the training helps participants feel more confident, be better prepared to handle common childhood health issues and have an improved understanding of what to do in an emergency.

At the training, you will learn about:

  • Baby and child CPR
  • Safe eating and first aid for choking
  • Head injuries
  • Allergies and anaphylaxis
  • Fevers and temperature management
  • And much more!

This training is great for parents, grandparents, carers or anyone who cares for children. It will run on Wednesday 21 November, 6pm-8pm at the Multipurpose Room at Bannockburn Family Services Centre. The cost is $30 and bookings are essential.

All Parentmedic Ambassadors have completed specialised education with The Parentmedic Movement to ensure they are up-to-date with current recommendations and first aid regulations.
