The sixth and final Golden Plains Shire Gazette for 2020 is now available, and this month residents will receive the hard-copy of the magazine in a different way.
Due to ongoing delays at Australia Post, Council has partnered with the Times News Group, publishers of the Golden Plains Times, to include the December edition of the Gazette in the paper’s delivery yesterday.
For residents who don’t normally receive the Golden Plains Times, hard-copies of the Gazette are also available from Council’s Customer Service Centres in Smythesdale and Bannockburn, as well as numerous general stores across the Shire, including:
- Elaine General Store
- Inverleigh Post Office / General Store
- Linton Council Office
- Linton General Store
- Meredith Roadhouse
- Rokewood Take Away / General Store
- Smythesdale Post Office
- Smythesdale Supermarket
- Smythesdale Roadhouse
- Teesdale General Store
It is also available to read and download on Council’s website at goldenplains.vic.gov.au/news/publications.
The December edition is full of important news and stories from all corners of the Shire, and includes profiles on each of the recently elected Councillors, new cricket facility for Linton, and upcoming road and bridge projects.
