Community Solar Program – solar installation discounts

Community

Are you interested in installing solar at home? If you are interested in power security, reduced power bills and reduced carbon footprint, you are invited to attend one of the Community Solar Program information events planned for May and June 2018. The ShineHub Community Solar Program offers great discounts in solar installation (because ShineHub buys in bulk).

The next event will be held at the Golden Plains Farmers’ Market, this Saturday 5 May in Bannockburn.

There is another event in Bannockburn on Tuesday 29 May, Bannockburn Cultural Centre, 27 High Street, Bannockburn, 6.00pm (40 people registered so far).

There is also an event in Smythesdale on Wednesday 6 June, The Well, Heales Street, Smythesdale, 6.00pm (currently available but limited registrations – if more registrations are not received, this event will unfortunately be cancelled).

How it works

  1. Come along to one of our community events across the region, including Bannockburn, Smythesdale, Moriac, Geelong (and more!) to get the expert advice you need to choose the system that’s right for you. At the event you’ll learn how to choose from solar and battery options that can cut your bills up to 90%.
  2. Once you’ve chosen your system, ShineHub will give you a great deal on an installation by a top, trusted local solar company.
  3. You will be able to track your installation online too, and rest easy knowing that ShineHub provides independent quality assurance and payment protection.

What’s more, Shinehub will donate a 3.5Kw system to a nominated community facility or vulnerable person, for each 50 participants that sign up to the program!

Multiple purchase options are available (including up-front, personal loan and fixed rate free access (which is the first of its kind in Australia for solar batteries).

Click here and scroll down to view a complete list of information events across the region – register today to secure your place.

You can also listen to Dan and Alex talk about the program on The Sustainable Hour podcast here.
