Golden Plains Shire Council needs your help to identify the offenders behind a spate of graffiti vandalism over recent weeks.

Community buildings and structures including the Victoria Park recreation reserve clubrooms, Bannockburn Cultural Centre and playgroup buildings have been targeted.

Police have advised that other buildings in Bannockburn were also attacked.

Community assets damaged include:

  • Bannockburn public toilet
  • Bannockburn Playgroup building
  • Bannockburn Cultural Centre
  • Bannockburn Victoria Park Recreation Reserve – clubrooms and coaches boxes
  • Bannockburn skate park

These attacks are believed to have taken place over the weekend of September 16 and 17 as well as previous weekends.

The graffiti is not only unattractive and in some cases offensive, but costs time and money to clean with each occurence.

Community members with any information are asked to contact Bannockburn police on 5281 1260.
