COME TO OUR GRANT WRITING WORKSHOPS

Media Release

Applications for the Golden Plains Shire Council Community Grant Program 2019/20 open on Monday 1 April, 2019.

In preparation, we’re offering special grant writing workshops and information sessions next week to help local not-for-profit community groups deliver applications with impact.

The two-hour evening sessions will be held in Smythesdale on Wednesday 13 March and Bannockburn on Thursday 14 March.

Organisations can apply for up to a maximum of $5,000 under the Golden Plains Shire Council Community Grant Program.

These organisations must present opportunities which benefit a wide range of Shire residents.

This year, Council has simplified the submission process by adopting the easy-to-use SmartyGrants online application system. The new system, which is used successfully by other funding agencies across the state, will also be explained in the information sessions.

For more information about this year’s Golden Plains Shire Council Community Grant Program, contact Community Partnerships Officer Tyson Macilwain on 5220 7220 or email [email protected].
