Changes to Customer Service Centres

Due to the reintroduction of Stage Three COVID-19 restrictions this week, Council’s Bannockburn and Smythesdale Customer Service Centres will close.

From 5pm, Wednesday 5 August, the two centres will close for face-to-face interactions until at least Sunday 13 September, in line with the Victorian Government’s Stage Three restrictions.

Customers will still be able to contact the Customer Service team during this time by:

Customers will be able to still attend in person at the centres tomorrow and Wednesday. Customer Service Centre visitors are required to follow social distancing guidelines and health and hygiene protocols, including wearing a face covering, a limit on the number of people in the centre at a time and application of hand sanitiser. Customer visits will be limited to 15 minutes at the desk or in a meeting room, with options for follow-up phone and online meetings available for longer consultations. Residents who use Council's sharps containers collection and drop-off service in Bannockburn and require sharps containers, please contact Council’s Customer Service team on 5220 7111 to discuss new arrangements.

The two Customer Service Centres had previously been closed to face-to-face interactions from 16 March to 28 June, 2020.
