Council advises that the Special Council Meeting scheduled on Tuesday 1 September 2020 will not be held, as no public submissions were received on the Bannockburn Family Services Long Day Care Lease Proposal.
At its July meeting, Council resolved to publically exhibit the proposed lease of part of Bannockburn Family Services, 2a Pope Street Bannockburn, in accordance with Section 223 of the Local Government Act, 1989 (the Act). Submissions were invited by email, mail and through Council website from 29 July to 26 August 2020. No submissions were received, so the special meeting of Council to hear submissions has been cancelled.
On Tuesday 8 September at 6pm, a Special Council Meeting is scheduled to consider the proposed signing of the Bannockburn Family Services Centre Long Day Care Lease. Due to Coronavirus (COVID-19), members of the public are not able to attend in person however, the meeting will be accessible online to the public through the livestream on Council’s YouTube page. The agendas and a link to the livestream will be available at Council’s website goldenplains.vic.gov.au prior to the meeting.
