Bannockburn roadworks - McPhillips Road and Victor Street

Community
Bannockburn

McPhillips Road and Victor Street in Bannockburn are being upgraded through the federal Roads to Recovery Program.

Works consist of widening the existing roads, installing kerb and channel, footpaths and some on-street car parking.

This project is expected to continue through until June 2017, and minor traffic disruptions are expected during construction.

The road works are being managed by Council and have been designed to complement the future development of the Plaza extension, which is a privately managed project.

Council has received a number of requests from residents seeking clarification on this extension—we can confirm that the private developers responsible for the Plaza have a current planning permit in place.

At this stage, Council is providing advice and support wherever possible to assist.  However, progressing the extension is ultimately a matter for the private developer.
