Regional Roads Victoria has advised Council of an upcoming lane closure as part of works on the Bannockburn Entrance Roundabout project.

From Monday 30 August to Friday 3 September, Geelong Road will be reduced to one lane between the railway line and the new roundabout. Regional Roads Victoria will have traffic controllers in place. Drivers through the area should expect delays while the works are completed.

Regional Roads Victoria is constructing the Bannockburn Entrance Roundabout, which will improve safety at the intersection of High Street/Bannockburn-Shelford Road, Geelong Road, Kelly Road and Clyde Road near the railway crossing. The Australian Government has invested $3.2 million for the construction of the new roundabout under its Roads of Strategic Importance program.
