Community Signs - Booking Form

Share this:

Golden Plains Shire is home to many events and in order to support safe signage for events in the region, Council has provided eleven signage locations and has made them available for community use. The following conditions apply to groups wishing to use the signage frames:

  • The event must be held within the Golden Plains Shire boundaries.
  • Provision of the sign and all costs associated are the responsibility of the event organisers. There is no charge to utilise the frame itself.
  • Bookings are subject to availability.  Preference for specific sites will be given to ‘not for profit’ events in that locality.  Note: each frame will contain a permanent Golden Plains Farmers’ Market sign.
  • All signs must be removed by midday Monday following the event’s conclusion.
  • Frames are only to be used for the promotion of community events. Organisers must have completed an event registration and/or event application to be eligible to book the signage space.
  • Signs are to be well presented, legible to passing traffic and professionally prepared. Signage text should be kept to a minimum and lettering smaller than 100mm will not be accepted. Allow a 60mm border around the sign.  Signs must not be offensive or contain any moving parts or reflective material including fluorescent paints. A draft of artwork MUST be included with this application.
  • All signs must be 1200 x 1200mm and constructed of corflute.
